purpose in motion
The Mental Movement was built from my lifelong fascination with how the mind and body work together. After years in chiropractic care, business ownership, and sport and performance psychology, I realized that sustainable performance is about understanding how every part of you works together.
My work combines science and curiosity to get to the root of what drives performance. I look at the whole picture: how you train, recover, think, and talk to yourself. Every decision, habit, and thought affects how you show up. Using principles from physiology, psychology, neuroscience, and philosophy, we pinpoint what’s holding you back and rebuild the habits, focus, and mindset needed for long-term growth and the extra edge in performance.
Working together is meant to feel like both a lab and a playground. It is where you can challenge assumptions, test limits, and learn through experience. Together, we question patterns, analyze feedback, and build awareness that drives real change. Work can be done in person or virtually. When possible, I observe training or competition firsthand to connect what’s happening mentally with what’s happening physically.
The Mental Movement is about helping you understand yourself. It is about uncovering the root causes behind burnout, plateaus, and self-talk that keeps you from your ultimate goals, and building the tools, habits, and mindset that support sustainable performance. It is performance coaching that evolves with you, built on science, curiosity, and the willingness to explore your limits.
Whether you’re training for a championship, leading a team, or learning how to show up fully in your life, The Mental Movement helps you close the gap between potential and execution.
Master the way you think, move, and recover, and everything else follows.
telos • noun • \ˈte-ˌläs, ˈtē-ˌlōs\
Etymology: From Ancient Greek τέλος (telos), meaning "end, result, purpose, fulfillment"
Definitions:
The ultimate end, goal, or purpose toward which something is directed or which it is intended to achieve.
Philosophy: The final cause or inherent purpose of a thing; the reason for which something exists or is done, especially in Aristotelian thought.
The culmination or fulfillment of a process; the state of completion or perfection.
Telos is at the core of The Mental Movement. It represents your driving purpose, the reason behind the work, the effort, and the pursuit of growth. It is what gives meaning to motion. In performance, telos is the point where what you do and why you do it align. When your actions move in the direction of purpose, effort becomes intentional, progress becomes sustainable, and performance feels clear. The goal of The Mental Movement is not just to achieve more, but to help you move with purpose, to live and perform in alignment with what drives you.
